Welcome to Swanland Parish Council

Swanland Parish Council serves approximately 4000 inhabitants of the village of Swanland in East Yorkshire.

This website aims to allow the Council to communicate more effectively with residents and to provide ways to allow them to contact both the Parish Council and the East Riding of Yorkshire County Council. It will be kept fully updated with items of local concern including access to current planning applications and how you can make your views known. Parish Council News items are posted on the Council News web page. See also the Swanland Village Website  which contains a vast amount of local information

The Parish Council works closely with many local organisations including the Swanland Village Association (SVA).

Main Street Flooding

Yorkshire Water have advised us that their clean-up crews will be arriving within 4 days. If any resident would like an up to date more information please contact Yorkshire Water on 0345 1 242424. The surcharge at Main Street junction with Northfield has an investigation/clean up reference of U318103-1 and the reference for St Barnabas Drive at the junction of Main Street is U318680-1.
