UPDATE ON SWANLAND & FERRIBY SURGERIES
At a meeting of the NHS East Riding of Yorkshire Clinical Commissioning Group today the following was decided.
SWANLAND The branch surgery at the pond will close on 4th December. Patients will be required to use the surgery in Main St, Willerby, until the new Willand Health Centre in Anlaby opens in January. We have stressed that patients must be fully informed of this transitional phase, how they can access the Willerby surgery and how they should request prescriptions in the meantime.
NORTH FERRIBY It was agreed unanimously that the branch surgery at the Village Hall would not reopen, and that it was not considered fit for an alternative provider to utilise.
We are very disappointed that Swanland surgery is not staying open for longer to avoid confusion for patients. And we regret very much the loss of the surgery at the Village Hall in Ferriby.
Any patients that will have difficulty getting to Willerby/Anlaby or Hessle should discuss this with the appropriate surgery. Every effort will be made to accommodate your needs.
