WILLAND SURGERY OPENS TO PATIENTS ON TUESDAY 10th MAY
A message from the surgery says,
‘To help facilitate a smooth transition of clinical systems, the existing premises in Willerby will be closed on Friday 6 May and Monday 9 May, with limited arrangements in place to support patients with any urgent requests. There will be no public access into either building during this time and the practice is asking patients to postpone any routine calls until the new premises are open.
Patients who do telephone the surgery will be given a phone number to ring which will enable them to speak to one of the clinical team and, if necessary, make an appointment for an urgent, on the day appointment. This will not initially be a face-to-face appointment and it may not be with their normal doctor.
Alternatively, patients who need urgent help but it’s not an emergency, can call NHS 111 free, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for help and advice. The usual GP out of hours arrangements will also be in place over the weekend when the practice is closed, from 6pm on Friday to 8am on Monday.’
